playin’ – a music & video project by Klaus Killisch & Mikael Eriksson

playin’ is an ongoing music and video collaboration between visual artists Klaus Killisch (Berlin) and Mikael Eriksson (Stockholm). Originating in the mid-1990s, playin’ was born out of a shared desire to experiment with sound, image, and performance beyond the traditional boundaries of visual art. The project serves as a platform for collaborative, cross-disciplinary productions, often incorporating live concerts, video installations, and session recordings.

Since their first session in 1994, Killisch and Eriksson have brought together musicians, performers, and visual artists in a constantly evolving dialogue. Their work ranges from intimate studio recordings to immersive gallery installations, always driven by spontaneity and a playful spirit of experimentation.
